Mohammed Chouchani Abidi, Associate Professor of English language & Translation in the faculty of arts and languages, university of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar El-Oued Algeria, where he teaches translation studies and English for specific purposes since 2011.
As the head of the English language department (2011-2013), he worked with his team to improve the level of the English language in El-Oued by implementing different projects and procedures.
Based on his previous experience in administration and coordination with many Oil companies in Hassi Messaoud, he learnt many new skills and knowledge which he is investing now in his new tasks as the coordinator of the international cooperation committee with the international relations office of the university; the main aim is to improve its relationship with the economic, social, scientific and educational environment either locally or internationally.
Sharing the spirit of internationalization between the students and teachers, looking for more opportunities to fasten the university ties and agreements, with his team and under the supervision of the international relations office, they organized many seminars and info days for the benefit of El-Oued students.
Furthermore, he participated in many local, national and international conferences and seminars investing in his main topic of research; popularization of science and translation.
He represented the University of El-Oued in many ERASMUS info days and seminars.
