Prof. Touhami Lanez is a professor at the department of chemistry in the University of El Oued, Algeria, he is currently working Principal Scientist/Lab Supervisor. He has completed his Ph.D. in Organometallic Chemistry from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, United Kingdom. He has over 32 years’ experience in Chemical Synthesis of Ferrocene Derivatives for Biological Targets, DNA/BSA binding, computational Medicinal Chemistry of Bioactive Organometallic Molecules and Molecular Docking Studies. He is Editor-in-Chief of Journal of fundamental and applied sciences and editorial board member and reviewer of many Elsevier and spring journals. Professor Touhami Lanez held several administrative positions, including Vice rector of the University of El Oued (2010-2017), Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences at the University of Ouargla (2001-2005), Head of Department of Chemistry at the University of Ouargla (1994-2001), member of the Permanent Sectoral Committee of the ministry of higher education and scientific research (2017 to present). Professor Touhami Lanez is appointed expert for the evaluation of several research projects including research laboratories, national research projects, research projects university training, research accreditation.
