Short Biography
I am an assistant professor (class B) of electrical engineering at the University of Eloued in El Oued, Algeria. I received a Ph.D. degree in control and diagnosis of electrical systems from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Biskra. I am a research member of the CISE—Electromechatronic Systems Research Centre, Covilhã, Portugal. My research interests include synchronous reluctance machines, model predictive control for power converters and motor drive systems, advanced control, control of renewable energy systems, and swarm optimization techniques. He also has interests in machine fault modeling, machine fault detection, and fault-tolerant control.
